Gone Fishin’

A hand holds a small fish.
A person fishes in a lake.

Feeling disconnected

From everything

I've known

Welcomed relief

Known to embrace

Being on my own

It's hard

To know

If anything

Means anything

I've tried

So hard

To forget

What that

Feels like

You and me

Nothing else

I can see

Let's just be

Me and you

You and me
